Tycoon Ruler

Brown / 1999 / 16 HH

BY LAST TYCOON EX SWEET DELIGHT (RANCHO RULER) to 6 removes.

Identified as the type of stallion that will succeed with Queensland bred mares at a very competitive fee. His dam has produced two to race for two stakes winners. This is a hot young family going places. TYCOON RULER is a very attractive animal with a precocious attitude, which was evident throughout his racing career. During his career TYCOON RULER demonstrated that he had inherited a fair bit of the ability that made his sire LAST TYCOON, a grandson in the male line of Northern Dancer, possibly the best sprinter-miler in the world in his generation.

All told TYCOON RULER, a 1999 foaled horse who raced for his breeders, the Marconi family, won five races in Melbourne including two at 1000 metres (up the straight at Flemington and at Moonee Valley) at two and later two Listed stakes, one at 1200 metres and the other at 1400 metres. At t hree besides his Guineas second he turned in a fine performance to be second at Moonee Valley to Titanic Jack in the Alister Clarke Stakes-Gr.2 (1600m) and to champion sprinter Yell in the C.S. Hayes Stakes-Gr.3 (1200m).He was also third in two stakes at three including an appearance in VRC Debonair Stakes-Gr.3 (1420m), again finishing ahead of Thorn Park.
