BY KENMARE (FR) EX MARKET FAIR (BISCAY)

KENFAIR (NZ) was a talented racehorse who won Group Races both in his 2 and 3 year old years. As a 2YO of the 1991-92 season, he was rated among AUSTRALIA’S BEST 2YO’s with victories in the Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes and the Group 3 Skyline Stakes before finishing an unlucky 4th in the Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes. As a 3YO, he won the Group 3 VRC Hilton on the Park Stakes at Flemington. Subsequently winning the BATC Sprint at Doomben, he retired the winner of 8 races and had the distinction of winning top class races in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Sire Line

KENFAIR (NZ) is by French Group 1 winner KENMARE who earned the ranking of "Champion French Sire" twice and "Champion French Juvenile Sire" three times. At stud, KENMARE has produced over 100 stakes performers and is recognised as a boom sire of sires. His successful sons at stud - apart from KENFAIR (NZ), include KENDOR, HIGHEST HONOR, KENVAIN, as well as KELTRICE. KENFAIR (NZ) is a representative of the great GREY SOVEREIGN sire line which has been proven to cross very successfully with both colonial and international pedigrees.

Dam Line

The dam of KENFAIR (NZ) is MARKET FAIR, who is a Sydney metropolitan winning full sister to twice "Champion Australian Sire" and once "Champion Australia Juvenile Sire" - MARSCAY. On the racetrack, MARSCAY's eight victories included the prestigious Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes. At stud, MARSCAY has produced 60 stakes winners of over A$38 million.
