Sooboog will stand at Clear Mountain Fairview on the Darling Downs, Queensland, from 2023 at a stud fee of $5,500.
Formerly standing at Kitchwin Hills, Sooboog is a Group 3 winning son of record-breaking sire sensation, Snitzel, who is arguably the world’s leading source of two-year-old talent.
The Group winning son of Snitzel boasts a sublime pedigree and is brother to Group 1 VRC Lightning Stakes winner Snitzerland.
Sooboog’s $1.5 million price tag gives a clear indication that he has the looks to match his exemplary pedigree.
Clear Mountain Fairview Stud Principal is delighted with the addition to their stallion roster.
“When offered to us, we recognised him as a great source of sprinters, a great type with a superb temperament.
“He suits Queensland mares, and we are very excited to acquire such a great horse to stand at a very affordable fee.
“With his extensive list of credentials, Sooboog will appeal to anyone with a broodmare.
“Sooboog also qualifies breeders to obtain free QTIS eligible progeny without the expense of the QTIS Breedback pay-up.
“His progeny are also kicking goals, such as his Group 2 winner, Boogie Dancer and his Stakes performers, Port Albert and Birdsville.
“Sooboog represents incredible value at $5,500, a fraction of the service fee of his sire, Snitzel,” Frappell ended.
Sooboog will join fellow Group producing sires at Clear Mountain Fairview, Love Conquers All ($5,940) and Worthy Cause ($5,500).
