Queensland’s Clear Mountain Fairview is excited by the interest shown in new 2018 sire recruit Jabali (Exceed and Excel-Balalaika, by King of Kings).
JABALI will stand at Clear Mountain Fairview
Having stood his first two seasons at the Queensland base of Sun Stud (which has since consolidated its operations in Victoria only), Jabali offers breeders a bona-fide opportunity to breed a serious prospect for the rich juvenile features.
The second highest-rated 2YO of his year (he was runner-up in the Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes), Jabali trained on as a 3YO to land the Gr2 Queensland Guineas over a mile at Doomben.
Throwing lovely foals and by superbly credentialled stallion Exceed and Excel, his dam is a daughter of Gr1-performed multiple Group winner Love of Mary.
This is the immediate family of 4-times Champion Hong Kong Sprinter Sacred Kingdom and Gr1 ATC Champagne Stakes-placed Equator.
Purchased by Mick Price Racing for $220,000 at the 2013 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale from the draft of Kornong Stud, Jabali’s 2018 fee is $4,950.
